Synopsis
et during the early years of the Republic of China, the story follows a fallen noblewoman aspiring to be a doctor and the son of a great family who becomes a soldier.
In the beginning of the 20th century China, people’s livelihoods were in decline. Jin Yu Rong is an aspiring doctor who hopes to help as many people as she can with her own two hands. She meets Zhao Zheng Nan who just like her, cares about the common good. The two go from acquaintances to lovers.
Zhao Zheng Nan becomes a soldier with progressive thinking but during the torrent of the times, they are forced to separate. Just when Yu Rong falls into a trough in her life, she finds direction in the revolution. Inspired by Yu Rong, Zhao Zheng Nan joins in the fight against Japanese occupation to embrace the new China together.
